Judie Koploy established Slades in 1975. Slades began in two small rooms on the upper floor of the old Slade House in Franklin Village, Michigan but soon outgrew its space. Koploy moved Slades to one strip mall and then into the Orchard Mall in West Bloomfield, Michigan in 2005, where it quickly became known as the mall’s high-end gift shop with something for everyone.
Slades’ beautiful showroom displays the finest tabletop items, china, crystal, stemware and flatware. We have a huge selection of giftware including unique decorative accessories, picture frames, perfume atomizers, Judaica, and our special piggy banks. We are always adding and redecorating, so stop by often.
Our friendly staff is happy to help you choose the perfect gift for a wedding, house warming or anniversary. We also personally work with brides and grooms to create a registry.
